Chupp’s Pianos Strikes The Right Note With Solar Power

At Advanced Solar, we take pride in helping businesses harness the power of the sun to improve efficiency and sustainability. One of our latest projects was with Chupp’s Pianos, a renowned piano restoration and sales company in New Paris, Indiana.

As part of their recent expansion, Chupp’s Pianos wanted to reduce their reliance on grid electricity while aligning with their commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.

Meeting Their Energy Needs

To meet their energy needs, we installed a state-of-the-art solar system at their shop and showroom. The system features 63 high-efficiency 440-watt solar panels, generating an impressive 27.7 kW of power.

This setup is supported by two 10 kW SolarEdge inverters, ensuring optimal energy conversion and performance. Additionally, we installed a separate system for their nearby house, which includes 22 solar panels producing 9.7 kW of power, paired with a 7.6 kW SolarEdge inverter.

Even with Indiana’s often cloudy weather, the system has already proven its effectiveness, significantly reducing grid power usage during working hours.
